Gameclub Report Aug 24 2003

I was running all around yesterday meeting friends and giving demos.
The demos near Warner Village was pretty successful. I got a bunch of windowshoppers all eyes thru the windows.
Arrived at the game club about 4:10 under the thundering storm and rain carrying an umbrella and a bag of squabbles.
I have the waiter to move us to the bigger merged tables under the pedestal. We start playing English Squabbles and I really got my ass kicked yesterday. It's like odd agaist the world. Everyone aimed to steal my cards. Weep Weep Weep :(

After two round of English Squabble, Southpaw and I switched to Japanese Squabble. Miltown and Jenpenguin
switched to Chess and others switched to Phase 10. The Jabble (Japanese squabble) is killer game. Given no native Japanese around, we really have trouble adjucating the words we made :) Maybe we'll get a good dictionary soonest:)
We made about 20 words each or so. Simple words like yoru, hana, sono, subete, etc. I sold 5 sets of squabbles that day of different colors and pockets some future orders too. Miltown, Southpaw, and I went for a dinner of Nan bread in Shida nightmarket before we went separate ways.
