Grandpa passed away

John msged me just now, Granpa passed away yesterday morning at the age of 80 something. I don't even know how old granpa really is. Unfilial. It's sad to lose someone you love, it's even sadder to lose someone who loves you. Grandpa was really nice to me. When I was kid, he aways gave me extra bucks when i passed by his store at the intersection. I guess life isn't short for grandpa, to live that long, grandpa has fulfilled his legend. He was a very handsome youngman, a respectable businessman, considered rich in town, and has only one son who died young and only all his daughters today beside him. My mother's twin and my youngest aunt still stay with him. Now grandpa is gone. I don't know how the house will turn into, a paradiso perdito? I hope not. I hope God grant blessing and restore happiness in the heart of all my aunts. The most memorable time with granpa was one day he suddenly had a turn of attention to my bad teeth when I was 12 or something and brought me to the city to see the dentist and had all my cavities filled and bad teeth pulled out. Granpa also always call me by the alias "Thaiphui" which means BigFat in Hakka, even I am no longer fat but in fact skinny as hungry cow.

I pray that the Lord bless the soul of my dear grandpa and restore the loss of all of us the bereaved. I love grandpa.
